Halloween Toilet Roll Spiders

These Halloween spiders are a great creative activity using toilet roll holders and black paint.

When it comes to doing any themed activities I always try to keep it simple. I love being able to reuse items from around the house to keep additional costs low. As a family of five, something we have a lot of is toilet roll holders! These are the perfect crafting utensil that everyone will have.

Materials Needed:

Cardboard toilet roll holders

Black paint

Scissors

Tape

Paper

How To Make

To make your spider you will need to cut eight legs into the toilet roll holder. Try to make them all the same length if possible. Then cut a circle from another toilet roll holder that will then fit inside the spider, use tape to secure this in place.

Then using some black paint simply dip the spider into the paint and then stamp on some paper. My four year old also used a paint brush to paint the spider rather than dipping it into the paint.
