Kids Lion Food Art

I love creating food art, it's such a fun way to make your children's food more appealing. Not only can food art help with fussy eating but it's also a great way to create food memories and give your children some unexpected learning opportunities.

One of my first food creations that I ever posted on my Instagram page was that of a lion. I've since posted quite a few lion food art creations because not only are they fun and effective, they are one of the easiest. I've always advocated that food art doesn't need to be elaborate to be effective. Children do not need you to spend hours creating food art because quite frankly who has the time for that and children are not patient!

If you are not confident with creating food art then a lion is definitely a good start. To create an easy lion basically all you need is a circular face, a mane, eyes, nose and mouth. There are numerous ways to create a lion.

How to Make a Food Art Lion

Circular face ideas include pancakes, crumpets, sandwiches, toast, sliced pineapple, houmous
